UFC TUF9 Finale - A Quick Take

First off I would like to start off this by saying I did enjoy this season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The rivalry between Team USA and Team UK gave the show that needed edge to keep you watching.

I enjoyed watching the TUF9 Finale. I thought there were some very "good" fights. But the Show Stealer was the Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida Fight. It doesn’t matter what you saw before this fight because all anyone is talking about is this one. These two fighters were looking to seriously hospitalize someone. From the opening bell it went straight into an all out slugfest to see who has the better chin. Diego won that Test. This fight quickly turned into Diego Sanchez vs. a Blood Soaked Mop. Sanchez relentlessly hammered on Clay's cranium with vicious elbows from the bottom. These "elbows" were more like vicious missiles sent to permanently disfigure someone’s face. Cuts began to flow on Clay's Face, Nose and Head Region. It seemed like nothing would stop Clay short of beating him into a Coma. Even a Head kick that could have Knocked out a Small Horse by Sanchez only temporarily stunned Guida but he was back to his feet just moments later coming for more. All in All it was a great fight to watch and was a great choice for the main event.

Sanchez and Guida both gave everything they had. I would have loved to see it go 5 rounds because Guida even after the split decision loss was jumping up and down in the post fight interview with Joe Rogan like a lunatic.

It was Fun to Watch and it was FREE so you can’t beat that.
